Response to the question on the 50th Class Reunion Questionnaire
USN 61-65 home port Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, Midway, Guam, Bangkok, Philippines Island, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Panama, Columbia, Acapulco. Married "66", had 2 really great boys - now men. Travel - Hawaii, Calif, Arizona, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, South Dakota. We plan to road trip the Eastern sea board. After Shirley and I were married, we bought our first home in the Burien area. 8 or 9 years later our second home was purchased in Federal Way and for 29 years we worked and played until we retired. We've always loved Eastern Washington so we moved to Lincoln, Washington. Lincoln is located on Lake Roosevelt. The lake is formed from Grand Coulee Dam structure. We had a new home built and have been here for over 5 years. We love to go boating and spend 4 or 5 days our on our lake. One other thing... After the Navy I bought a "1965 Pontiac 2 + 2" from "Chuck Gaines Pontiac" brand new, from our classmate Vern Cummings. We still have the car that is...
