In Loving Memory

1-2-1942 – 7-2-2018

Patty was born at the Auburn Hospital, January 2, 1942 to Darwin Sage and Lovey Sage and she was called to heaven July 2, 2018.

Patty graduated from Auburn High School with the class of 1960. Patricia worked for the telephone company over 40 years before she retired. Patty was a very valued employee having been employee of the year 4 separate times. Patty was always willing to mentor new employees and was a friend to all. No one had ever been employee of the year before or after her. GREAT ACHIEVEMENT!

After retirement we traveled the world—Mexico, Central America, South America, the Far East, the Caribbean and most of the US. Her favorite destination was always home in Auburn.

Patty is survived by daughter Nancy and grandsons Grant and Christian. Also, step children Travis and Jenna and step grandchildren Owen, Oliver, Quincy, Lydia and Lexi who were happy to call her NANNA P.

And most of all the love of her husband Bill. Then, now and always, we were a happy couple.

Eskimo Proverb:

“Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven, where the the love of our last ones pour through and shines on us to let us know they are happy”.

Patty will be remembered August 12th with a mass at 10:30 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 505 17th St. SE Auburn. No reception will follow. Love you always, Patty…Rest in Peace, Bill.
