PERSONAL

1960 Graduated. Went to work at Auburn Nanional Bank of Washington
1961 Married Gary Houle, became an Air Force wife in El Paso, Texas
1964 Daughter Jennifer born at Wm Beaumont Army Hospital - El Paso
1967 Divorced
1969 Married Marvin Randall from Selah, Washington

WORKED

1960-68 Worked at various banks in El Paso and Kent
1968-79 Worked for Kent School District in the Admin Office
1979-97 Worked for Boeing - Hydrofoils, B-1, Electronics, B-2, Aerospace
1997 RETIRED!! Moved to Lewiston Idaho

'BUCKET LIST' ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Traveled to Washington D.C., Alaska, West Coast
Have a NEW home on our "old" property
BEST of all was our trip last year to Australia and New Zealand

What did you do right after high school?

Stupidly got married in 1961, divorced in 1967 Smartly remarried in 1969. After graduation, started at the National Bank of Washington as a machine bookkeeper.

Past jobs?

Stayed in Banking from 1960 to 1968, accounting for Kent School District from 1968 to 1979. Wanted better salary so went to Boeing from 1979 to 1997 and retired early

High Points of your life since high school?

Birth of daughter Jennifer Jaye.
Marriage to Marvin in 1969
trip to Australia & New Zealand in 2009

What do you like to do in your spare time?

garden, read, talk with friends, volunteer, spend time with youngest grandkids who live here in Lewiston for the last 4 years.

Travel much?

LOVE IT! Last trip was on a paddle wheeler from New Orleans to Memphis. Desperately want to go back to New Zealand.

What is your favorite memory of AHS?

Mr Loland and Mr Sabol.

Thanks for caring, Vernona, when others didn't always seem to.  You and your family were very meaningful to me, and helped me through those crazy teen years, for which I will always be very grateful..  We'll meet again, my friend, and share the good times!
